To Mend and Defend
Bringing back ReBoot the iconic Canadian CGI-animated action-adventure television series from the 90's is no easy task.
It all started with the ReBoot realunch, which saw five teams at Rainmaker produce 5 brand new art directions and treatments for the beloved series. Fans flocked to the website to vote on the best pitch. As a result driven by fans, the best pitch was turned into the three part Paradigms Lost comic book, while the campaign earned a PopVox award. The entire creation process and comic book was released in parts on the ReBoot website which at its peak had 50 000 active users. This grassroots, fanbased approach of rebooting Reboot had plenty of momentum and was actively involved with fans. Unfortunately it failed to secure the necessary financing for a trilogy of films at the time. The parting gift of the campaign was a complete remaster and release of ReBoot: The Definitive Mainframe Edition.

The ReBoot identity is iconic and everlasting. The symbol is well recognized across the world. Our goal was to bring the ReBoot symbol front and center, while we supported it with a much cleaner and simpler sans typeface.
Two covers where created for the Paradimgs Lost storyline. The main cover features the impending corruption and potential destruction of the Mainframe. The alternate cover features Gnosis front and center as it is taking over Mainframe.
